Italian artist and designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba is one of those men that creates art. His work often looks at the relationship between man and nature, and nothing is more evident than this decadent one of a kind. This hands down is a WOW piece, and literally it goes beyond the boundaries of just a chair. It’s Art. Bold, graphic, bright and inviting, Nathalie du Pasquier’s designs evoke inspiration that shy’s away from unoriginal or of boredom. One of the founding members of the Memphis Group, it is one of the most significant movements in Italian Design, established by designers and architects. This rug is not supposed to be shun away from it’s meant to be displayed in all it’s glory. Her motifs, repeated intermittently and in whatever colour she saw fit was a welcome antidote to the day’s “good taste.” Wool 15″ x 32″.
