Foolproof Way's To Not Sweat The Small Stuff

Ok, this is a hard one I’m not going to lie. Sure it seems easy, it’s a famous quote for a reason, it’s a mental & spiritual aspiration to achieve, but how do you not sweat the small stuff? With practice and lots of it! For many years I was that person that would sweat the small stuff, and I would think is it just me? Is it a chick thing? But when I saw some other female friends chilled out, I knew then that I needed to figure it out. Heres a few tips to get you started…

Forgive People: I wasn’t that person for a long time, but I tell you, the energy it takes to harbor that anger will make you sick in the end. Time to let it go.

Smile: I swear even when you have nothing to smile about, it gravitates the energy around you, which in turn really makes you smile. It’s like laughing – it’s pretty infectious.

Reality: You have to honestly say to yourself, “Whats the worst that’s going to happen?” – And I really mean that. Whats the worst? Will you die? lose your job? or perhaps just be an upset monkey? It’s like talking yourself off the ledge.

A New Day: Thankfully everyday is a new day, and the sun always shines on the next. Remember that. It’s ok to have a pity party, but at some point you have to pull up your big pants on, and turn things around.

Charity: You wanna really learn how to not sweat the small stuff? Go work at a soup kitchen, help the homeless, or serve food on Thanksgiving to those in need. Your problems will feel like a grain of sand in the bigger scheme of life.

Does It Really Count: When you look Back in 6 months, a year or two years, will it of mattered? Most probably not. Theres something to be said for living in the here and now. Being present allows you to focus on today and the immediate moment.
