How To Style The Silk Pajama Shirt Trend

How To Style The Silk Pajama Shirt Trend

First things first. YOU are not a trend. Don’t follow one or become one. YOU lead the way. If it’s not in style and no-one else is wearing it, and you come across a piece that you absolutely adore and looks good on you – run with it, and run fast! I got into silk Pajama shirts BEFORE they became trendy. I was vintage hunting at one of my favorite stores, and I came across a piece that I did not have in my wardrobe. That’s how I create my collections. I focus on what I don’t have, so when I come across it I jump on it. And believe me when I say, that’s the bandwagon you want to jump on. See this is HOW I stand apart from others, I focus on my wants and needs, my body shape and style, and with a bit of experimentation, I create unique and chic pieces that are truly tailored to me. And I want this for you too! I find the best pajama shirts are made from silk, cotton ones are best if they are ethnic inspired. The shirts are best paired with pants – either skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans or even silk pants. And you don’t want to tuck it in, you want the tailoring to stand out. I’m telling you all this, cause I want YOU to stand out. xox

Love the quote! I have doing my own thing and it does make me feel a lot more unique. Been putting together some of my own ideas and its cool when i can add more jewelry to my own style and liking. and not worry if i’ll be following someone else rules so to speak.
