Always inspired by my travels, I’m channeling a nautical theme today. See I have traveled over 105,000 air miles this year, so much so that I feel like I WILL sail away. When styling wide leg silk pants, I focus on 3 basic things:

1. Wear a different fabric on top. The luxurious feeling of the silk pants adds a sophistication to the outfit. Unless your going full on with a glamorous nighttime look, pair with another fabric to create tension, and a relaxed feel.

2. Wear a top that hits your hips or below. Going for a middriff look doesn’t really work in this case.

3. Wear “barely there” underwear. Trust me on this one!! The silk is not forgiving, and will show VPL – visible panty line if it’s there. So think ahead on that one.
