I remember the first time I heard Pink Floyd’s iconic song Learning to Fly. I was 12 years old on a flight from Sydney to Hong Kong. I was restless, tired and couldn’t sleep. My older brother trying to help out says: “Listen to this.” The metaphor was pretty on point as we were FLYING. I. Was. Hooked. On Pink Floyd that is. I grew up flying my whole life, and traveling with my older brothers gave me an appreciation for music I hadn’t discovered. It also allowed me to get my travel style down, as my parents were very big advocates of always dressing nicely. I have SET outfits that I alternate between, but are the same usual suspects: Comfy pants, a big ass scarf, boots, and a chic tote bag. Oh, and you will get better service at the airport and on board. FACT.
