Uniquely You Campaign Featuring Modcloth x Curated Cool

I love a good challenge, and was so thrilled when Modcloth asked me to take part in their “Uniquely You”campaign with Polyvore. The challenge is to style an entire outfit around Modcloth’s pick of the week, which happens to be the Palette on Parade dress. I LOVE this dress as it’s versatile, bright and can be styled in many ways. Firstly I picked a theme. With a bright and busy pattern I decided to go with a modern chic vibe, with inspiration taken from Roman Gladiators. This modernizes the vintage inspired dress in a different way. The jacket is not structured giving the look a soft feel, which allows the bold accessories to stand out. The clutch, necklace and belt are very geometric, which ties the outfit together. The bold ring looks exactly like a Roman helmet, keeping with the theme, and the strappy heels are reminiscent of Gladiator sandals too. For a fun twist, I loved the idea of temporary tattoo jewelry as well, from rings to necklaces, bracelets to whatever your fancy.
