If you are looking to up your beauty game, here are seven beauty hacks that are tried, tested, and sworn by:

1. Double Cleansing:

Start your skincare routine with a double cleanse to ensure your skin is thoroughly clean and free of impurities. Use an oil-based cleanser to remove makeup and sunscreen, followed by a water-based cleanser to cleanse the skin of any remaining residue.

2. Hydration from Within:

Hydrated skin starts from within, so drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated and radiant. Additionally, incorporate hydrating foods rich in water content, such as cucumbers, watermelon, and leafy greens, into your diet for an extra boost of hydration.

3. Multi-Tasking Products:

Opt for multi-tasking beauty products that offer multiple benefits in one. I look for multi-purpose masks, saving you time and effort in your daily routine.

4. Skin Tint / Faux Facial Tan:

This little “sun-kissed” hack is easy and all-natural looking. Use a self-tanner specifically for the face, not the body for the summer glow.

5. Beauty Sleep:

Prioritize quality sleep to allow your skin time to repair and regenerate overnight. Invest in a silk pillowcase to minimize friction and reduce the risk of wrinkles and creases. Apply a hydrating overnight mask or serum before bed to wake up to soft, glowing skin.

6. Green Tea Bag Compress for Puffy Eyes:

This one is no joke, and it took me a long time to actually “get” this one. I protect my skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays by wearing sunscreen every day, rain or shine. Choose sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher and apply it generously to all exposed areas of skin, including your face, neck, and hands, to prevent premature aging and reduce the risk of skin cancer. And don’t forget the ears!
