Unique meditation approach David Lynch Catching The Big Fish. I received this book 2 years ago for my birthday. My friend didn’t know that I was a David Lynch fan, But he did know that I was always wanting to meditate. The book doesn’t teach you HOW to meditate – there are 100’s of books out there that do. BUT this book is special in the way that it makes me feel connected to David Lynch with creativity in a zen like-minded way. Written in small passages that flow, Its inspiring, deep, soulful, and written with depth that goes far enough down to really catch the big fish. It provides a rare window into the filmmaker’s methods as an artist, his personal working style, and the immense creative benefits he has experienced from the practice of meditation. According to Lynch, it’s all because of Transcendental Meditation and consciousness-based education. I’m a huge fan. The book is brilliant.
